Sri Lankan national has been arrested at the Kochin airport in South India for smuggling gold.
The man was arrested with a large stash of gold biscuits on Thursday, according to Indian reports,
It had been revealed that the man had more than one kilogramme of gold inserted in his body when he went through the X-ray scanner.
The reports added that the 47-year-old was later taken to a hospital to remove the fourteen gold biscuits. |
