When Prince William and Catherine Middleton, better known as Kate, tie the knot in the UK on Friday, even India will be gearing up for parties to celebrate their wedding. The British High Commission will hold a reception in the evening, with all the finery of a Royal reception — elaborate flower arrangements, a three-tier chocolate truffle fruit cake and a delectable menu. Hosted by the Deputy British High Commissioner to India, Nigel Casey, and the BBC, the event will have guests like Sir Mark Tully and Suhel Seth. Two large screens will beam the highlights from the wedding.
