Police have arrested two men who had reportedly attempted to attack SLFP organizer for Benthara-Elpitiya, actress Geetha Kumarasinghe.
As Mrs. Kumarasinghe was attending a funeral in Nagahawatte in Elpitiya, the two had allegedly tried to attack her with a knife.
At the time, both had been under the influence of liquor, reports added. |
